The road to this 284-page hard cover book, published by the Cree School Board of Northern Quebec, was long. After 10 years in development, and several years being pilot-tested in schools, this ambitious project relating history from an aboriginal perspective got the green light. Nortext created a stunning design for the photo-packed textbook, co-ordinating with the authors and school board throughout on editorial and design issues. After just a year and a half, Nortext delivered separate English and French editions of this groundbreaking book.
